Fixed Braces
There are several different types of fixed braces. It involves the fixing of small brackets to each
of the teeth, which may need tilting, rotating, intruding or even extruding.
Lingual braces
These braces are placed on the inside surface of the teeth (tongue side) so that you
are unable to see them at all. This is a good option if you are in the public eye and want braces
that are out of sight. Due to there location speech is difficult at first, but after a short period
you will adapt with out any problems.
Depending on you specific problem you may need to wear aligners or braces from any time between 6
month to 2 years. The duration of treatment for each case will be determined at the planning stages
so that you will be able to decide on the best time for your treatment to commence.
